Border Crossings wins western magazine of the year

Winnipeg quarterly Border Crossings took the prize for Magazine of the Year at the Western Magazine Awards. The culture mag also won the top title in the Manitoba category.

Other regional best mags were Eighteen Bridges (Albert/NTW), Kootenay Mountain Culture Magazine (BC/Yukon), and Grain Magazine (Saskatchewan). Coast Mountain Culture Magazine was deemed Best New Magazine and Alberta Oil won Trade Magazine of the Year. Toque & Canoe took home Best Online Magazine.

Eighteen Bridges had a good night overall with wins in four categories. Other multiple award winners were Border Crossings, Sub-Terrain, Vancouver Magazine, Up Here and Grain Magazine. Industry vets Paul and Audrey Grescoe were presented with the WMAF Lifetime Achievement Award.
