The OMDC Magazine Fund is now accepting applications
The Ontario Media Development Corporation (OMDC) is accepting applications from independent Ontario-based magazine publishers for its 2015 magazine fund. The fund helps digital and print publications grow their business through various initiatives.

Among the requirements of eligibility—which can be found in its entirety on the OMDC website—applicants must derive more than 50 % of the company’s revenue from magazine revenues and related brand extension of the core business, be at least 75% Canadian-owned and controlled, and have a minimum sales revenue of $20,000. All eligible projects must also have a clear objective and measurable results.

The OMDC will hold a webinar session on May 13, and an information session on May 14 for interested applicants. The sessions require registration, although unregistered guest may be allowed, if space permits.

The deadline to submit an application to the OMDC is June 24 at 5:00 p.m. Visit the website for a full list of requirements.
