Susan Antonacci, the associate publisher of TC Media’s English consumer brands, including titles such as Canadian Living, Style at Home and ELLE Canada, will be retiring after spending 38 years with the organization.

Throughout her years with TC, she has worked for each English consumer brand owned by the company. She began at TV Guide Canada, opening the first Canadian TV Guide bureau in Los Angeles and developed television projects including dailies and weeklies for Canadian Living.

During her time at Canadian Living she held various positions including photo editor, business manager, managing editor, editor-in-chief and associate publisher. While she was at the helm of the publication it was awarded Magazine of the Year in 2012 and 2013 by the Society of Magazine Editors in the 150,000+ category.

"Looking back on Susan's career, she has accomplished and contributed so much to our brands and to the magazine industry,"Jacqueline Loch, Vice President & Group Publisher, Consumer Solutions Toronto and Vancouver for TC Media said. "A tremendous leader and team player, Susan has always been very humble and an integral part of the editorial leadership team. She has won a number of industry awards, always insisting that such honours were the result of a team effort, and not hers alone. We are very thankful for everything she has accomplished and, on behalf of TC Media, I wish her much happiness and success in the personal projects she has planned for her retirement."

Antonacci will be moving to Johnston’s River, Prince Edward Island and will work on advocating for arts funding at the primary and secondary level as well as other personal ventures.
