Carlos Lamadrid steps down as SVP, consumer solutions for TC Media

Carlos Lamadrid has left his role as senior vice president, consumer solutions for TC Media, just shy of a year into the position.

TC Media communications advisor Patricia Robichaud verified the departure, “I confirm that Carlos is no longer with TC Media. He made his decision to resign after careful reflection. It’s a personal and family decision, as they wished to return to live in the United States.”

Lamadrid joined the organization on Sept. 3, taking over the responsibility of optimizing TC Media’s brand portfolio and spearheading the multiplatform growth strategy for its flagship brands in Toronto, Montréal and Vancouver. He was in charge of overseeing TC’s magazine portfolio, including but not limited to, Canadian Living, Coup de pouce, ELLE Canada, ELLE Québec and The Hockey News.

In the interim, Ted Markle, president of TC Media will be the acting consumer solutions SVP, while the management team looks at options for filling the vacated position.

“Jacqueline Loch, VP and publisher, will continue to oversee the day-to-day production activities for the consumer brands in Toronto and Vancouver, and Lise Paul-Hus, VP and publisher, will continue to oversee the day-to-day production activities for the consumer brands in Montreal,” Robichaud said.

Lamadrid's last day at TC Media was July 21.
