This magazine, focusing on politics and culture, has a new look (we'll post more on this shortly). It has also announced that its long-time (since 2004) literary editor
Stuart Ross is leaving, while the magazine welcomes its new literary editor
Dani Couture, author of two collections of poetry (
Good Meat and
Sweet).
Pat Lynch has joined
The Grid as deputy editor. Lynch has been with
Globe and Mail since 2007, where he has been editor of Globe T.O. (weekend city section) for the past two years. He has also worked as a senior editor of
Cottage Life and
Toro. His role with
The Grid began on Tuesday.
Alice Lawlor has replaced
Beth Hitchcock as executive editor of
House & Home Media. Lawlor comes from
Totem, TC Media's branded content division.
Speaking of Totem, it was recently named brand agency of record for
Right to Play, a global not-for-profit agency that focuses on helping children build skills for a better future. Meanwhile, Totem's founder Eric Schneider (Totem was called Redwood Custom Communications prior to its current incarnation)
announced he is leaving TC Media to pursue other endeavors.
