ParentsCanada magazine has struck a partnership with Kids’ CBC that involves cross-promotion and content sharing.
The partnership means that
ParentsCanada will promote
Kids’ CBC programming in its pages, and
Kids’ CBC programming blocks will be sponsored by
ParentsCanada, noted a release from the magazine.
The partnership also involves the "cross-promotion and integration of the partners’ digital properties".
ParentsCanada will be providing some content for
Kids’ CBC’s soon-to-launch CBC Parents website, and visitors to
ParentsCanada.com will be able to click through to
KidsCBC.ca for fun games and videos for their kids, noted the magazine.
Jane Bradley,
ParentsCanada publisher, also hinted at bundled advertising programs between the two brands in the future.
In other news from the magazine: This Thursday,
ParentsCanada magazine invites children at The Hospital for Sick Children (Sick Kids) to "test the must-have toys for the holiday season."
The magazine has gathered nearly 200 of the hottest toys and will transform an area at Sick Kids into "every child’s dream playroom". Kids will be invited to test the toys, provide feedback and keep them afterwards. The top ranked toys will be featured in
ParentsCanada’s October Toy Guide issue.
ParentsCanada launched in 2007 and is published eight times a year by Family Communications in Toronto, which also publishes
Today's Bride.
