New online magazine promises features 'that matter to women'
A new online magazine has launched that will offer features "that matter to women".

TheGaze Magazine, built on a Wordpress platform, launched recently and is focusing on establishing an audience and measuring where it needs to be in terms of content and visuals before approaching advertisers, said co-founders Chantaie Allick and Britt Harvey.

"The content is mainly reviews, features and issue-based pieces that matter to women," reads an email from the founders. "The site is feminist-inspired and the content will be."

The mag is targeting Canadian women aged 18 to 45, with a network of contributors "from across the country, although right now they're primarily in Toronto, Winnipeg, Montreal and Vancouver."

Recent headlines on TheGaze include Your Daily Cry; Unicorns, Pubic Hair, and Grooming and A Four-Course Menu to Feed and Fix the Walking Dead.

The next step for TheGaze is to expand to tablets, said the founders. The magazine has a Twitter account here.
