Azure launches international design competition
Azure magazine recently announced the launch of an international design competition, the AZ Awards. The magazine, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year and recently underwent a redesign hopes to showcase the best in top-tier architecture and design with the new awards program.

Professionals and students are invited to submit work which is completed by the end of 2010, has been previously unawarded and unpublished to the AZ Awards starting on January 1, 2011. Submissions will be judged in the categories of industrial design, architecture, interior, concepts and the A+ Award for student work. The deadline for submissions is March 1, 2011. Editor and vice president of Azure Nelda Rodger says the program does not yet have a sponsor, but they are interested in hearing from potential partners.
