Liza Cooperman has been hired as the editorial director of Sweetspot.ca. She will oversee content for Sweetspot.ca’s site and newsletters, which include SweetLife, SweetMama and SweetHome. Cooperman has 12 years experience in print, having helped with the launch of Hello! Canada and The National Post.

Also at Sweetspot.ca, Bonnie Mo joins the company as associate editor. Mo has blogged for the now defunct Glow.ca and written for magazines including Elle Canada, Chatelaine and Oxygen.

Candice Kirkby joins the Sweetspot.ca team as account manager. Kirkby comes to the team with years of experience on the agency and vendor sides.

Jennifer Carroll joins Worn Fashion Journal as the director of events. One of her first duties will be working with the magazine on the launch of its tenth issue in May. 

2: The Source for Couples has added Benedetta Lamanna as its new assistant editor. Lamanna was interning with the magazine for three months and will work primarily on the website.

2 has also hired Milena Canizares as creative services manager. Canizares was formerly at Redwood and will work on special promotions, special projects and developing the magazines newsletters.
