This week in the Best of Mag News Around the Web, an article from Advertising Age that says not all media will benefit from the stabilizing economy. Still at Ad Age, Sport’s Illustrated is the latest to announce its digital Tablet version of the magazine. CNN reports that Google has strengthened its news content walls to allow companies to limit access. Media Shift reports on magazines at Conde Nast and Hachette who are finding that creating iPhone applications for their books can be a significant challenge. And a report from Advertising Age that asks whether the U.S. should enact the same policies as Europe in supporting journalists and news organizations.
