In the agency world, those who cross the ad-edit divide get rewarded for it.
Remember those controversial ads we saw in Style at Home and Canada House & Home (and other newspapers and magazines) earlier this year? The one where the Tassimo coffee maker ad was laid on top of an editorial spread and the one where a Swiffer mop was cleaning the same mess that appeared on an editorial page? The ads that clearly violate the ad-editorial guidelines set by the Canadian Society of Magazine Editors and Magazines Canada in 2007? The ones produced by the Starcom MediaVest Group agency?
