Canadian celebs: "We need The Walrus"
Margaret Atwood, Geddy Lee and Atom Egoyan are amongst the well-known Canadian media celebrities appearing in a new online video from The Walrus magazine, created to drive donations to the charitable, non-profit Walrus Foundation. The 45-second video also features indie rockers Brendan Canning and Lisa Lobsinger, filmmaker Bruce McDonald, MTV Canada's Jessi Cruickshank, actor Sonja Smits, author Camilla Gibbb, and fashion designer Jeremy Laing.
The magazine is using its Twitter feed to spread word about the video and is encouraging readers to share via Facebook, Twitter, Digg, or e-mail.
