Canadian Home Trends launching digital copy
Canadian Home Trends is launching a new digital copy of its magazine starting with the April/May issue on April 7. The move into the digital format is part of its “green initiative” and will offer 20 per cent more editorial content.

“It’s the green initiative with a little bit of incentive because a lot of people will say why will I buy the online as opposed to print?” said Marc Atiyolil, style and design editor of Canadian Home Trends. “Well, we say you get 20 per cent more editorial content.”

The April/May edition of Canadian Home Trends is autographed by Steven and Chris of CBC.
The new digital copy is being sold for $4.95 an issue or by subscription for $23.99 a year. The subscription is for the digital copy only. The print edition subscription is being sold separately and is priced at $25.19 on the Canadian Home Trends website. Digital copy subscribers will be notified of upcoming content and new issues through the Canadian Home Trends’ e-newsletter. Subscriptions will be offered online through the website or by calling a 1-800-number and requires a major credit card.

Canadian Home Trends is currently designing different advertising packages for its print and electronic versions to maximize publicity for its advertisers.

“Some advertisers might prefer to get more exposure on the online edition as opposed to the print edition or some might want to do a little bit of both so we have to be creative in order to customize every campaign for our advertisers,” said Atiyolil.

Canadian Home Trends is a bi-monthly home décor and lifestyle magazine. It was founded in 1997 and is published by Canadian Home Trends Media.
