Hello! Canada leads the pack of finalists for the 2008 Canadian Newsstands Awards, with four covers nominated in the "extra-large magazine" category. Also receiving multiple nominations were Maclean's, L'actualité, Toronto Life, Wish, Western Sportsman, Maisonneuve and This Magazine. The winners will be announced June 3 at Magazines University. The free reception begins at 5 p.m. in the Guildhall Room at the Old Mill Inn & Spa.

Winning magazines in most categories receive $3,500 each in credits towards promotional programs at newsstands owned by HDS Retail. The winner in the Small Magazine category wins $1,000 in credits, plus $500 cash.
