PMB releases readership data for 2008
The Hockey News has the highest number of readers per copy in Canada, according to data released today by the Print Measurement Bureau. The sexagenarian Transcon title surpassed two American mags, Sports Illustrated and People, to claim the number one spot.
On the macro level, average readers per copies stayed flat at 5. Here’s the trending going back to 2002:

No year-over-year change to report in the other mass categories, either. Average time spent reading stayed flat (41 minutes), as did average degree of interest (6.8 out of 10).
PMB now tracks 114 magazines and consumer data through about 25,000 door-to-door surveys with Canadians.
