Applied Arts Media, Canada’s longest serving publication for creative professionals working in the visual communications sector is hiring a full-time Awards Coordinator. This is a full-time, 40 hours per week, work remotely position. The ideal candidate will work closely with our awards manager/publisher and our social marketing manager to promote the Applied Arts Awards winners.

~ Writing blog posts that promote our Award winners, cover press releases, events, etc.
~ Write promotional messages for e-blasts, social, etc.
~ Build relationships with current, past and future entrants.
~ Assist with magazine subscription initiatives to grow magazine readers.
~ Editing the online and in-book Awards gallery.
~ Explore new opportunities to grow our brand in Canada and beyond.

~ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
~ Be able to work independently
~ Hands-on social media experience would be an asset.
~ Experience launching community initiatives (e.g. creating events, podcasts, etc.)
~ Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics
~ Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels
~ Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and work independently
~ A creative-thinker with an understanding of the creative industry would be an asset.

The annual salary range for this position is $40,000, plus benefits.
