Job description: Manager, Digital Acquisitions - Zoomer

ZoomerMedia Limited is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced manager, digital acquisitions to help promote everythingzoomer.com and Zoomer Magazine to new online and offline audiences, generate earned media resulting in buzz around the Zoomer brand, and drive Zoomer magazine digital, newsletter and print subscriptions to the next level. This position reports into the Vice-President, Audience Development.

Responsibilities
· Develop and implement innovative lead generation and acquisition programs
· Execute multi-channel marketing plans to achieve audience and financial targets in a KPI-driven data-first culture.
· Plan, manage, execute and optimize digital marketing campaigns in email, SEO, PPC, social media, and SMS.
· Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns and track ROI and KPIs
· Build buyer personas and lead scoring methods to optimize lead generation.
· Oversee direct mail, package inserts, email, SEM and social media campaigns.
· Assist with the development of a segmentation strategy for prospecting, identifying key marketing channels, messaging and offers by segment.
· Identify conversion opportunities and create and implement digital campaigns to convert email promotion subscribers to magazine subscribers. In addition, develop attribution methodologies and reporting.
· Work with Digital and Editorial teams to optimize website for SEO.
· Handle all media buying functions for respective brands and successfully negotiate complex contracts with various organizations and media outlets to increase business recognition.
· Seek contra opportunities with external media partners.
· Promptly issue creative briefs and supervise the implementation of marketing and communication plans in collaboration with the Creative Services department and other internal departments.
· Ensure all print, radio, television and digital initiatives are completed according to schedule.
· Devise and introduce one-of-a-kind experiences, such as contesting, with key partners to build brand exposure.
· Liaise with contest partners for final sign off on contest details. Create Rules and Regulations for sign-off, co-ordinate co-branded creative, and execute all marketing plans related to contests. Notify contest winners, obtain necessary paperwork and ensure all contest prizing is delivered to the winner.
· Ensure flawless execution of all partnership arrangements.
· Assess and develop cross-sell and up-sell opportunities with other ZoomerMedia properties
Qualifications

· Minimum requirements include a degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business or related experience
· Experience in the media and entertainment sector is preferred, in particular with B2C print magazines
· Advanced knowledge of Marketing Automation software (IBM Watson Campaign Automation, Hubspot, Marketo, etc), lead generation, lead scoring and lead nurturing, SEO, PPC, and paid social media advertisements with the desire for continual growth and development.
· Tech-savvy with the ability to understand and interpret complex technologies to develop and communicate marketing messages.
· Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to effectively serve a broad variety of internal and external stakeholders
· Flexible, energetic and able to work well with others in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment.
· Proficiency in print procurement and media buying
· An eye for design and creative solutions
· Demonstrated strategic marketing planning experience
· Proven track record in integrating digital and social media into marketing plans
· Outstanding writing and communications skills
· Ability to perform well under pressure and manage competing priorities
· Proactive, responsive and a creative thinker, able to use initiative to problem solve
· Salesforce background is a plus.
