Interesting chart. Did he talk about sell-through? It's my impression that relatively few magazines sell more than 50% of their 'draw'. If that is the case, why don't environmentalists focus on this incredible and predictable wastefulness and secondly, why does 'paid' circulation remain the 'holy grail' for magazine distribution and controlled circulation is dismissed (notably by Heritage Canada grants and postal subsidies) as unworthy?
